A media distribution institution such as interMedia Partners would be best to distribute my magazine “Vocal Tone”. The reason for this is although it already distributes popular music magazines such as “vibe” my magazine targets a much younger and versatile audience than these. This means that my magazine reaches a gap in the market. In addition to this the media institution interMedia Partners already distributes such well known music magazines, which means that they already have the experience needed to attract new and loyal consumers who might be interested in a new branch of music magazine to buy “Vocal Tone”. In addition to this the magazine would have online media form to maximise advertisement profits thus leaving a smaller amount of advertisement for the magazine to maximise the consumption of the magazine.
I’d considered “BAUER” to distribute my magazine because it publishes 308 magazines in 14 countries. The media institution distributes music magazines with a very similar target audience and genre. This would mean that it would be unlikely to distribute a magazine that competes with one of its successful magazines.

Who are interMedia Partners? What are the issues involved in considering who might distribute a magazine? Size and income of target audience/degree of revenue from advertising/content and level of editorial control? Ask me to discuss these things with you.
